A clogged drain is the single most common call we take. Kitchen sinks that drain slower every week. Showers that pool around your ankles. A toilet that gurgles when the washing machine drains — which is not a toilet problem at all, it is a main line problem announcing itself early.
The difference between a drain that stays clear and one that clogs again in three months is whether anyone bothered to find out why it clogged. We clear the line, then put a camera down it when the pattern suggests something structural. Snaking the same pipe twice a year is a subscription, not a repair.
Drains We Clear
From a single slow fixture to a full main line blockage:
- Kitchen sink clogs from grease and food buildup
- Bathroom sink, tub and shower drains packed with hair and soap
- Toilets that back up or will not flush clear
- Floor drains in garages, laundry rooms and utility areas
- Main sewer line clogs and whole-house slow drainage
- Laundry standpipe overflows
- Commercial kitchen grease lines and floor sinks
- Outdoor cleanouts, yard drains and root-blocked laterals
Snaking vs. Hydro Jetting vs. Camera
Cabling (snaking) punches a hole through the blockage and pulls back what it can grab. It is fast, affordable, and the right call for hair clogs, most kitchen clogs and a toilet paper jam. It does not scrub the pipe wall.
Hydro jetting runs 3,000–4,000 PSI of water through the line and scours it back to full diameter. That is what you want for years of hardened grease, mineral scale, or fine root hair. On older cast iron or clay lines around historic Dade City we always camera the pipe first — jetting a pipe that is already cracked makes the problem worse, and we would rather tell you that than sell you the bigger service.
Camera inspection is how you stop guessing. If a line has clogged more than twice in a year, the camera usually finds the reason: a belly holding water, an offset joint, root intrusion at a clay coupling, or a section that has scaled down to half its diameter.
Drain Cleaning Prices in Dade City
A standard single-fixture clog runs $125–$250. A main line clog cleared through an accessible cleanout typically runs $250–$450. If there is no cleanout and we have to pull a toilet to get access, add roughly $100. Hydro jetting runs $400–$700 and includes the camera inspection so you can see the before and after.
If the camera shows a broken or collapsed section, we will show you the footage and quote the sewer repair separately so you can decide on your own timeline. No pressure, no same-day-only discount nonsense.

Drain Cleaning FAQs
We would rather you did not. Caustic cleaners generate heat, sit on top of a full blockage, and can damage older cast iron, PVC joints and the rubber components in a P-trap. They also make it dangerous for whoever opens the line next. If a plunger has not done it, call.
Most single-fixture clogs are cleared in 30 to 60 minutes. A main line through a cleanout usually runs one to two hours. Hydro jetting with a camera inspection takes two to three hours depending on line length.
Constantly. The mature live oaks around Dade City, Saint Leo and Lacoochee send roots toward any moisture, and older clay or cast iron laterals with loose joints are an easy target. Camera inspection confirms it, jetting or a root cutter clears it, and severe cases need a repair or a liner.
For most homes, every 12 to 18 months as maintenance. Older homes with cast iron or clay lines, big trees near the lateral, or a household of five-plus people benefit from annual service. Restaurants and commercial kitchens should be on a quarterly schedule.
It is safe for PVC, ABS, CPVC and sound cast iron. On pipe we suspect is fragile, we camera it first and make the call from what we actually see. We will not jet a line that cannot take the pressure.
